FareShare will be present at many NAIDOC 2024 activities this week, and supports the celebration and recognition of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC stands for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee. Its origins can be traced to the emergence of Aboriginal groups in the 1920′s which sought to increase awareness in the wider community of the status and treatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

This year’s NAIDOC theme is Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.

FareShare will participate in Aboriginal Advancement League (AAL) NAIDOC lunch and provide the entrée and dessert for this event while paying our respects in person at the Elders Luncheon here in Naarm.
